There Are Only HOW Many Homes In The Market Now?

Hi, folks. Today I have a market update for you all. I have been doing this since the pandemic started so that I can give you a feel for how the market is really doing.

Today I am pleased to tell you that we have a new high for impending sales for this past week in San Diego County. We’re up to 886 pending listings. These are homes that sold and went under contract this week. We hit a major low during the third week of March of 347 pending listings.

But more importantly, this week the pending were higher than the new listings, so we have actually had inventory shrink. So we went from 5,400 homes on the market down to 5,248. We’re down slightly and we are certainly down compared to where we usually are for this time of year.
